Under the El – Port Richmond – Philadelphia

I took these photos 2 days ago under the El on Front Street
in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia. It’s zombie central but
struggling for gentrification and a safe place for your children to play. The placement of these wheat pastings
represents the struggle that Philly continues to battle every day. The
battle is life and co existing peacefully, not only with each other
but also with our own city, the land. I really believe that everyone can relate
to Philadelphia in some way no matter race, religion or any other
physical/emotional elements. These 2 pieces are very moving and extremely relevant and beneficial to this area.

Thank you Sorta Street Art!
