YOSEMITE + the meadow fire

By the time we arrived to Yosemite National Park, we saw this orange cloud looming over the mountains and we were in awe of it’s massive complexity. We later found out while hiking that a meadow fire was burning and that was the cause of this “cloud” which was actually smoke. It cast a pink glow throughout the forest and smelled of burnt pine.
